Story
In the summer of 2023, a meeting was held to address issues at Hurd Park, and many residents felt we needed to have a more organized effort to work with the town - one voice. Both Prouts Neck and Higgins Beach have had associations for many years. We found that multiple people were calling the town about similar concerns, but getting these issues addressed was a slow process. It became clear that Pine Point needed a strong group of leaders to represent our village, and to promote a bigger-picture master plan of what this community wants and needs.

Thus, the Pine Point Association was formed - we now have over 200 residential member and several business members!
Mission
Pine Point generates a large portion of property tax revenue for the Town, yet our streets are in bad shape, we still have no safe sidewalks, our beach needs improved care, and the traffic issues in the summer have not been addressed. We have also lost out to Prouts Neck the past few dredging times in receiving any of the spoils to help preserve our beautiful beach.
