East Grand Avenue Complete Streets Project

The Town of Scarborough is planning improvements for East Grand Avenue using a "Complete Streets" approach, which means designing the road to be safer and more accessible for all users — including drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders. Safety concerns are especially important due to heavy summer traffic headed to and from the beach and the corridor’s role as an emergency evacuation route in winter storms.
